The amazing Mrs J had the honor of being the FIRST boudoir session at our new studio space back in June. She was also the first of our silent auction winners to redeem her session, one that Jennifer & I donated earlier this year to help support a local school. Turns out that Mrs J actually managed to snipe the auction right at the very, very end, winning her session with us! Yay! What an honor!

Mrs J has also recently successfully lost a lot of weight. I think that is just so wonderful that she set out to do what she wanted to do for her health, and she looks so wonderful. Most importantly, it is a glow you just feel coming from her of self confidence. Such a beautiful thing!

Thank you again, Mrs J, for the honor of being able to work with you! You’re amazing, and it shines through in your photographs!

I am so grateful to CHristine and Jennifer for donating this amazing boudoir photography and makeup package to my childrens’ school fundraising gala (an HISD public Montessori school). Buying a boudoir session at the silent auction was the furthest thing from my mind. While walking around looking at auction items, my husband kept pulling me back to the boudoir session and I kept resisting. He encouraged me to go for it though, as a gift to myself for my 40th birthday and as a celebration of my 100+ lb weight loss (He is a wise man.) We swooped in at the last bidding moment and won!

I have to say, I was pretty nervous about the session. I am not much of a “girly-girl” and walked in without a real vision of what direction I wanted to go in with the photos. I definitely felt a little bit self-indulgent and silly at first, but Christine and Jennifer really lightened my mood. And when Christine shared her mission of empowering moms with self-confidence through her photography, I was in! Christine made the whole process fun– she laughed WITH me (not AT me!), encouraged me and made me feel 100% at ease. By the end of the session I was walking around with a white sheet barely wrapped around my body. Now that is quite a feat for a gal who has a hard time walking around at the YMCA in one of those skirted mom-bathing suits!

This really WAS a gift to myself. I was stunned by how the photos turned out. They captured me as ME–in my white tank top, natural, relaxed. And then they captured a totally glam side of me that I didn’t even know was in there. It was a blast and I would recommend a boudoir session by Christine to any mom who thinks it’s about time to give herself some much-deserved attention. Remember! There’s a hot mama in there. So, in spite of the spit-up on the shoulder, stretch-marks, day after day of yoga pants, and sleep-deprivation, you should go for it, like I did. Thanks Christine and Jennifer!

What can I possibly say about Mrs J that you can’t see just by looking at her photographs? She is just such a stunning beauty! I’m so grateful to her for giving me permission to share her photographs here on the blog & my Facebook Page.

She came in for a Valentine’s Day session for her sweetheart and to make a boudoir book for him. Jennifer Aronson did her makeup for her, and it was flawlessly perfect! I love that Jennifer not only takes into consideration what colors look the best on my clients, but that she also looks at the outfits they plan to wear for the session and coordinates with them as well. Love it! For this session, Jennifer left us with a fantastic red lipstick for Mrs J to wear as well, so half way through we could change it up with an outfit change. It was great having two options!

Once Jennifer was done with her makeup we had the most phenomenal session! I’ll let Mrs J tell you about it in her own words – this is just part of her review; you can read the rest of it here.

WOW!! There is only one word needed to describe my shoot with Christine; WOW.

When I arrived I was promptly greeted by Jennifer. Jennifer and I had a fun time with my makeup prior to the shoot. She made me look amazing! Jennifer also helped give me tips on the makeup she was using so I could find it to use at home. Christine came in about halfway through my makeup session. She’s such a joy when she enters a room! Full of energy and life, I felt energized just being around her. Christine and Jennifer do a great job making you feel comfortable! That was a big plus for me.

Once we started the shoot I had a hard time relaxing but Christine knew just how to bring me out of my shell. A few corny jokes and funny poses later, I felt like I had known her for years. We went through tons of outfits and with each one I continued to feel more at ease. My favorite part of the shoot was that Christine would show me the pictures in her camera as we took them. I was so taken aback by how beautiful her photos were. I had seen them on the website but now they were me! I haven’t ever had a photographer that can bring out my beauty as well as Christine. I was so comfortable by the end of the shoot that I was taking pictures in my undies in the front room of her studio. It was wonderful and a huge confidence-building experience for me! …

This was one of the best experiences in my life. I felt pampered, beautiful, and sexy while laughing and having a great time. Christine, you rock!

Mrs J & I talked a lot during her session about how incredible it made her feel, what a boost to her confidence it was having intimate photographs done like this. It helped me put into words why I think boudoir photography is so important – it is just amazing the transformation I see my clients have right before my eyes through the process. I have the best job in the world! Thank you Mrs J for reminding me of that – and you rock too!

These are the photographs from the front window that Mrs J was talking about — I never ask a client if we can shoot up there if I think they might be uncomfortable. The windows are really tinted and it is hard to see into the room, but if you’re standing right in front of the curtains I’m sure you can be seen if people are looking! We were fast though, and we both loved the images!

Mrs M came to me while she was planning her wedding initially, and I knew there was something special about her from our very first email exchange. To start with, I saw it in her email address – her middle name & my middle name, Eliese, is the same! (Although hers is spelled the more traditional way of Elise.) Then, their wedding & reception were being held at the exact same venues where my husband & I had our wedding and reception. How cool is that?! But most importantly, it was her bubbly personality and effervescent charm that just came through each and every email we exchanged that won me over. When she decided to do a boudoir session for her groom-to-be, I was so thrilled!

The photo on the left is the shot that has since inspired me to suggest to clients to consider bringing an outfit that isn’t lingerie to their sessions. She was wearing that adorable blue top, and I just had to make sure we got a photograph of her in that before we started her shoot! That way, he can put it on his desk at work because she is just too gorgeous! Of course, she brought his favorite team jersey with her as well!

My boudoir photography may look all sexy, serious & glamorous, but if you want to know the truth – we tend to laugh like crazy through most of the session. One of these days I’m going to put “Professional Dork” on my business cards. I do what I can to entertain!

For someone that only likes taking pictures when I look good & always hate how they turn out since I’m not a size 2, I took a huge leap by getting a boudior session for my now husband’s wedding gift. Since I hired Christine for my wedding photos it was a no brainer that I would hire her for a boudior session. I booked one of the amazing packages she offers and holey moley did my size 18, 5’1 self look hot! I never thought of myself to be hot until I saw her photos…of me! Obviously when we first started I wasn’t completely comfortable (I mean come on, I’m wearing hardly anything taking pictures) but as soon as we got going I quickly felt as though I was goofing around with my best friend. I didn’t care if anyone saw me because once she showed me a few images I realized I had nothing to worry about. Christine takes images that accentuate your best features and minimize the ones you aren’t too fond of, which makes for beautiful pictures. I never felt awkard or uncomfortable because she goes through what you want to show & what you don’t. I am definitely wanting to do this again and will only go to Christine (which means I have to travel to Houston since I don’t live there anymore….totally worth it!).

Miss K is having a destination wedding at the end of the year, and decided to surprise her sweetie with a boudoir album full of awesome, yummy goodness! She was gracious enough to give me permission to share a few of our favorites! We did a session at the studio, and had such a great time!

In Miss K’s own words – from a comment she left over at the wedding photography site, “Christine just shot my boudoir shoot and it was AMAZING!!! She made me feel SO comfortable…and the pictures are beautiful; very “soft and sweet” yet sexy. Thanks Christine!!”

I just loved that she incorporated things that she knows he loves into the session. They are both fans of the Buffalo Bills, so she brought a jersey along, he loves the red shoes she is wearing, so she was sure to include them, and he plays soccer, so she brought a soccer jersey as well!

Aren’t those shoes awesome? They are her shoes for her wedding day! I love the purple – they are going to be such a gorgeous accent! Thank you again to Miss K for such an awesome, fun session!

The absolutely stunning Mrs. M visited our studio in December to make an album as a present for her husband’s birthday. What a wonderful gift – she said he loved it! They have always talked about having a masquerade party, so she brought along these really cool masks for the session as a prop. So gorgeous!

She also brought the lingerie she wore on her wedding day over 10 years ago, which just brought a sweet sentimental feeling to some of the photographs. We couldn’t help but laugh at how much more of a point the lingerie came to back then though!

Jennifer Aronson, my new studio mate, did her makeup and it was flawless as always! Mrs. M just glowed. I wish I could share some of the photos of how gorgeous her makeup looked, but sometimes the sexiness needs to be kept under wraps!

Miss C came in to the studio before Christmas to do a session for her soon-to-be husband. (I just had to keep the photos under wraps until after the wedding day!) They were heading off to have a wonderful destination wedding, and she wanted to give him the perfect gift! She came with a jersey for his beloved Lakers, her wedding night lingerie, and of course we used a white sheet for some of the images as well! My favorite part though? She brought a wig along with her too! She wanted to bring out her inner Lady Gaga, and it was amazing the transformation when she put it on! We had such a great time and laughed through her whole session. (I like to think she was laughing with me as I demonstrated my smooth dance moves, and not at me! Haha!)

Now that the wedding day has passed, I get to share some of the images from our day together with you! (With her permission, of course!) Thank you again, Miss -err, now Mrs. – C! I had such a fabulous time working with you! Congratulations again!

My lease came up for renewal at the beginning of April, and my landlord announced she was ready to sell the building. I have always dreamed of owning it, so my husband & I took the initial steps to purchase it – getting a loan. We pre-qualified for a loan, *but* the bank ultimately said it had to be for residential use only. We couldn’t buy the current studio space because they considered it a commercial property due to the heavily commercial area.

But everything happens for a reason, right? I met up with my friend Adam for coffee the day after I got the news, and it turns out he was looking for someone to rent the upstairs of his studio space – and it is perfect for what I need! YES!

So we’ll be moving from our current location on Studewood to 1229 Heights Blvd, Suite B on May 31st! To kick off summer and the big move right, we decided to have a BIG SALE!!!

These specials are good through the end of the summer! Book by May 31st for a session any time from June to October and get an *EXTRA* $50-200 off!!!

I have a wonderful, private studio space for your session – nice and cozy in our new studio! Located on Heights Boulevard, easy to get to from anywhere in Houston, the Heights is a charming porch community just north of downtown off of major freeways. Prefer to have your session at your home or a hotel? There is no travel fee for sessions in the Greater Houston area!

A limited number of sessions are available on the weekends. Most sessions are Monday – Thursday. 50% of your selected package price is due at the time of booking to hold your date; the balance is due 2 weeks before your session.

Prices do not include applicable sales tax.

Not limited to Houston sessions! – Live somewhere else? I would love to come visit you there. Travel costs vary, but I’m happy to consider *anything*! We need to talk!
